ROARS

putting toothpaste onto ur pimple helps! at least after u wash the toothpaste off, ur pimple feels less sore and is less swollen. in the meantime, ur face feels as though it is under super power mint attack. if this truly works i shall give myself colgate facial every week or invent some kinda toopaste facial wash or something.. like "Gracey brand of toopaste facial wash. The two in one economical solution to our everyday cleaning regime: Wash both ur teeth and your face in one rinse!" hahaha with this product maybe i can match up to the wealth and power of a certain someone (who ah-hem will be the richest and most powerful person in singapore in the future thru goodness knows what means), not to mention in terms of his stupidity and lameness.

anyways now i am more consumed by my ever increasing distaste for my school rather than my future business ventures. i realised that ever since i entered this school i have been forced to do alot of things that i dun wanna do. often this leads to a vicious cycle whereby i am forced to do even more things that i dun wanna do.arghh
it's so frustrating. just like how the school is like a prison. impossible to get in and more than impossible to get out.. damn sad that students who simply woke up late and want to go for lessons actually have to resort to 'underhand means' in order to enter the sch or be booked for dc.. which is another bloody waste of time.

so it is mostly my fault that i dun reallie abide by the rules and try to get away/around the system. but the system is just so damn unforgiving, rigid, strict, inflexible, proud and untrusting. yeah i just made a whole bunch of generalisations and sweeping statements but i dun care cause i am suddenly overwhelmed by the fact that i no longer take higher chinese and not in the choir singing.
which are the two things i am at least decently good at and liked to do in the past but have done neither of them in nearly two freaking years already.
cause.. the school saw it most fitting to punish a student by making her drop a particular subject that she skipped (many)classes to without thinking that it might actually be the only subject that she can pass in. or that she might have an option to drop a different and weaker subject in her second year if she had been allowed to keep four subjects in her first year!?
so much for looking out for our best interest..

quitting choir was based on an entirely innate problem though. the idea of being in a cca run in military stlye by both teachers and students was totally unacceptable to me. despite being the best choir in all the jc choirs, ac choir has a totally unique culture in its own rights, that is in my opinion very political and pressurising. it's a good thing i quit.. which reminds me of the extremely wonderful and frenly treatment i got when i did argh.. i just miss singing. i doubt there will be chances to do so anymore :(

anyway the school is some overrated overhyped overestimated thing. in all areas esp our sports which is what our "reputation" is mainly based on. and our so called lack of discipline and rules as well as fantastic range of ccas blah.. are jst a load of bs. along with teachers equally gossipy and bitchy as the students, some having minds as single tracked and unflexible and boring as the sole line/brand of clothings that they wear to school everyday and some having all the free time in the world to read blogs like this, trying to close down my little pathetic outlet of expression and control my oh so very minute existence in ways not already achieved thru attendance books, parent fone calls/letters and security guards etc etc
i am glad for the people and things i have known thru the school but i am sure this is very much the holistic education promised during certain morning assemblies/chapel.
