during sec1 or 2, i bought a book titled Consciousness when i was out with my mum. i dunno what prompted this crazy impulse. mayb it was the zesty blue cover or the very cool deep meaning sounding name. but the book hardly last an hour before ending up in the forgotten black hole of a cupboard because i did not understand a single word it said.

forward 7 years later (god, has it been that long), i was about to begin work on my much belated philosophy essay when i realized that i dun have the readings for it! the question, which was an entire A4 page long, was (in short) about a super scientist who lived in a world of black and white all her life and what she would gain when she first sees colour.

This invoked some long forgotten image in my mind: a black and white room with a blue banana in the middle. i went on a crazed search for where i got this image from and stumbled upon that book! which, coincidentally, had a chapter about the same super scientist blah blah.. WITH the picture of the blue banana to illustrate :D

talk about fate. and irony.
and irrelevant stuff that i am studying right now. super scientists and blue bananas haha..
